Buchinger fasting is a method of therapeutic fasting developed by German physician Otto Buchinger. This approach to fasting was developed in the 1920s and is based on controlled food restriction for a set period of time.

Daily Schedule

From 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. - gentle wake-up - Typical Day

The morning begins with an energizing hot lemon juice, followed by a morning body awakening with self-massage and gentle mindfulness movements. Then, a yoga session which promotes muscle relaxation, flexibility and harmonization of the body. The daily breakfast offers a variety of juices prepared in an extractor with organic ingredients, mainly from local orchards and vegetable gardens.

From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Hikes & Activities

With our guide, you will go as a group to discover the surrounding hiking trails. All our walks are suitable for fasting stays. Our routes take place over 8 to 10 km and are interspersed with breaks.

Activities will be offered to you during these hikes. Our animal caretakers will help you discover their passion. You will be able to spend a moment full of emotions with them, in the company of the animals on the estate.

From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Hot broth and juice

We meet for a moment of conviviality around a tasty hot broth and a mixed juice (vegetables, fruits). All our broths and juices are prepared on site by our chef. We favor plants from our own orchards and vegetable gardens.

From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – Free time to take care of yourself

It’s a time for you to take the time to relax, rest, read a novel, chat with other fasters or simply enjoy the estate’s magnificent 14-hectare park.

You can also benefit from our wellness area and relax in the hammam and jacuzzi.

Finally, a range of à la carte activities will be offered to you: massages, individual sophrology and meditation sessions (reservation on site).

From 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Collective Sophrology and Meditation session

We end the day with practices of inner well-being. Sophrology, to reconnect with yourself, to find inner harmony. Meditation to discover how ancient wisdom can help us remain serene in our lives.

From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – BOUILLON and conference by the fire

We meet for naturopathy conferences, meditation workshops, a presentation on traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and will dine around a meal of broths and juices prepared by our cook.

What is Yoga?

When practiced regularly, yoga can improve strength, flexibility and mental health. There are several styles of yoga, each emphasizing specific aspects of the practice.

What is Sophrology?

Sophrology is a mind-body practice designed by neuropsychiatrist Alfonso Caycedo who was inspired by Western and Eastern techniques.

Sophrology is a method that uses a set of techniques that will act on both our body and our mind. Guided by the voice of the sophrologist, the practice combines breathing exercises, muscle relaxation and positive visualizations.

Sophrology allows us to acquire better self-knowledge, to regain a state of well-being, to strengthen our potential to live our life with more serenity and confidence.

What is meditation ?

Meditation is a mental training that teaches us a new way to manage our thoughts and emotions so that we no longer get carried away by them.

We learn to direct our consciousness towards states of mind more favorable to our inner peace (serenity, contentment, gratitude, kindness, patience…). The meditation we offer is a secular method that combines sequences of wisdom teachings, guided breathing exercises, concentration and contemplation.

With meditation, we gradually learn to cultivate within ourselves a space of lasting calm, regardless of external difficulties.
